This week Equal Education (EE) has embarked on 10 Days of Action. This follows the announcement, last week, that EE filed papers against the Minister of Basic Education, Angie Motshekga, for failing to prescribe minimum norms and standards for school infrastructure.
For the10 Days of Action learners across the country have been taking part in special activities to help spread the word about the importance of the campaign. These activities have been documented in a daily newsletter called The Daily Equalizer. The newsletter is distributed in Khayelitsha to inform and inspire learners.
