Position: Junior Fundraiser
Description of position: Primary focus will be on building and maintaining a network of individual donors through online fundraising campaigns. The applicant must be prepared to spend a considerable amount of time e-mailing individuals and soliciting debit orders over the phone. This person will also assist the head fundraiser with grant-writing, correspondence with donors, solicitation of new donors, and report-writing.
Qualification: University degree or equivalent. Strong command of written and spoken English is essential. No experience in fundraising required.
Salary: R84 000 – R114 000 per annum.
