Our submission seeks to highlight the social impact of the state budget, primarily focusing on the schooling sector. In particular, we comment on funding allocations through various line items and specific conditional grants relevant to basic education, demonstrating the impact some of these funding decisions have on learners, school communities and education service delivery generally.
